How do I cancel my account?
You can cancel your account by contacting our customer service at: contact.techacademy@valeo.com

I have or will cease my business activity, is it possible to get a refund for my subscription?
Please refer to the general terms and conditions of sale.

Can I cancel my subscription at any time?
You can cancel an annual subscription: you will be refunded on a pro-rata basis for the remaining months before the end of the initial subscription period, using the payment method used for the subscription.

What happens if Valeo cancels my face to Face registration without justification?
VALEO reserves the right, at the latest 10 (ten)days before the scheduled date of the Session, to cancel the holding of the Session. In this case, the Customer will be informed and reimbursed in full to the payment method used by the Customer when registering for the training course.

What is the delay to cancel the subscription without any charge from Valeo?
The right of withdrawal in the e-commerce field can be exercised within 14 days starting from the time of the conclusion of the contract. The right of withdrawal allows the consumer to change his mind about the purchase made, freeing himself from the contract concluded without giving any reason. In this case, the consumer obtains a refund of the amount paid.

How do I retrieve my subscription invoices?
You can retrieve your subscription invoices via the email you received when you subscribed.

Why does my subscription invoice not include VAT?
Your invoice does not include VAT because it is a service offer.

How does the monthly subscription work?
You will be charged monthly for the subscription price on the payment method provided during the subscription. The amount for the first installment is calculated pro-rata for the period, and subsequent installments are charged at the beginning of each month.

What happens if there is a payment failure on my payment method?
In case of a payment failure, access to the subscription content will be suspended until the situation is resolved.

Will I receive a confirmation after paying a subscription?
Yes, after payment validation, you will receive an email confirming your subscription.

Will I receive a monthly invoice even if I select the annual subscription?
No, if you choose the annual subscription plan, you will not receive a monthly invoice. The annual subscription fee covers your access to our platform for the entire year, so you won't be billed monthly. You'll receive a single invoice for the annual subscription fee upon signing up, and your access will continue for the duration of the subscription term without any further charges until the subscription period ends.

How can I update my payment method?
Once you're logged in Tech Academy, click on the button "update my payment method" and follow the instructions.

What should I do if I mistakenly enter an incorrect email address during the registration process?
If you mistakenly enter the wrong email address during the registration process on Tech Academy, you won't receive the validation email, preventing you from activating your account. Simply redo the registration process with the correct email. Data collected under the wrong email will be securely destroyed after a set period as the email has not been verified.

Is it free to register to Tech Academy?
Registration for Tech Academy is free, granting access to the available free training content. For access to advanced content, you can subscribe to Tech Academy.

How can I edit my profile information on Tech Academy?
To edit your profile information on Tech Academy, please:

  • Log in to your Tech Academy account, navigate to the 'My Profile' section.
  • Once you're in the 'My Profile' section, you should see options to edit various aspects of your profile, such as your name, email address, password, and other relevant information. Make the necessary changes to your profile information
  • Click on Save button.


Can I request the deletion of my personal data on Tech Academy?
Yes, you can request the deletion of your personal data on Tech Academy. all you need is to delete your account, and ask for the deletion of your personal data using this email: valeo.dpo-external.mailbox@valeo.com

How can I manage my notification preferences?
You can easily manage your notification preferences within our Tech Academy. Simply navigate to your profile section, where you'll find an option to update your notification settings.
