At the Flotauto Show on February 6th, 2025, Valeo and Virta made their partnership official. The aim of this partnership is to strengthen their positions in the expanding electric vehicle and energy management ecosystem by integrating their technologies.

As the OE leader in electrification, Valeo equips one in three hybrid and electric cars worldwide. Valeo’s expertise allows to understand the unique needs of the IAM and develop a comprehensive portfolio of products and solutions.

Night time driving poses significant challenges and risks, with 72% of fatal road accidents occurring under low visibility conditions. The primary cause of these accidents is impaired visibility, making it crucial to develop advanced lighting technologies that enhance safety for drivers, other road users, and pedestrians. Valeo, a global leader in automotive technology, has been at the forefront of this effort with ground breaking innovations such as matrix beam and monolithic picture beam technology. These technologies are transforming night driving by improving visibility and reducing glare, ultimately making roads safer for everyone.

Following a recent wave of launches, Valeo will be consolidating its sensors portfolio with even more new technologies in 2024.

Taking place from 23rd to the 27th September, 2024, in Hungary, Valeo’s EV Tech Days proved to be an excellent occasion to inform key customers and journalists from across Europe exactly what the aftermarket division stands for in terms of electrification.
