In 2023, Valeo had its centennial anniversary, marking its humble beginnings from starting as a small workshop on the outskirts of Paris all the way to becoming a global leader in the automotive industry.
An Amazing Anniversary
On the 23rd May 2023, in the company of customers, partners, shareholders, and friends, Valeo celebrated its 100 year anniversary at the Atelier des Lumières, an immersive digital art museum in Paris, France.
With its cutting edge technology—providing light shows, massive projections on floors and walls, and a dynamic interplay of color and sound—there couldn’t have been a better environment than this former steel foundry to celebrate Valeo’s hundred year anniversary, a company who itself continues to pioneer and innovate in producing the latest technology for the automotive industry.
“Born in a modest workshop in the Paris region at the initiative of a handful of mechanical experts, Valeo is now, 100 years later, a global company with nearly 110,000 employees in 29 countries, and a technological and industrial leader in each of its core businesses – powertrain systems, thermal systems, comfort and driving assistance systems and visibility systems.”
